The 2025 A3's inside aims to combine mixed outcomes between modern tech and infotainment with classic European car design features. The seating is first-rate; the optional sport seats have quilted seating surfaces and faux-suede trimming; and a line of stitching on the dash lends some visual appeal. Unfortunately, the quirky nub of a shift lever, a cumbersome multi-function audio control, and more than a little harsh plastic trim balance those efforts. Although both the driver and the passenger will find great comfort, you will be let down if you are seeking creative or roomy storage options. Still, the 10.9 cubic feet of trunk capacity on the A3 will be sufficient for a weekend's worth of bags or an average grocery shop load.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The A3 has a digital instrument cluster; a 10.3-inch display is standard but can be upgraded to a bigger 12.3-inch panel included in the Technology package. Choosing the Tech package also provides navigation and lets one show the navigation map in the middle of the instrument cluster. Along with six months of Audi Connect Plus, 4G LTE wi-fi internet, it also adds traffic-sign recognition, a Bang and Olufsen audio system. The A3 kindly avoids the brand's new dual-screen configuration, which treats vehicle driving-mode switches and climate settings as a digital concern.
